One of the Girls at Priceless Virtues got a fully-funded scholarship by the MasterCard Foundation to study Pharmacy at United States International University, Nairobi-Kenya.

Taiwo has been on the mentoring platform since 2018, she is very hard working and always ready to learn. In 2020, Taiwo mobilized unemployed women for the SkillUp program we had, even when some women were giving her vibes that who is she to come and be telling them they are jobless and so they needed skills, I encouraged her and she did not give up. She even went ahead with some of her friends to get us the venue we used for the training. In 2021, she facilitated the vocational orientation of our Boot camp and trained over 30 Girls on the art of Ankara Craft.

When we got the application form for the MasterCard scholarship, we had a back and forth working on her essays but we enjoyed the process. She got selected for the interview and it was such a delight seeing her answer questions with such confidence and much enthusiasm. We were greatly excited for her selection eventually.

Taiwo is now in school and she is settling down very well too. We look forward to her executing her plans of sending down the ladder to her community and we look forward to other Girls joining her too.
